Meet two industry leaders addressing Inland’s Transforming Your Local Sales Model conference in July
Learn from the best: Joe Battistoni and Mark Levy
Inland’s two-day conference in Chicago, Transforming Your Local Sales Model, will feature a dozen industry leaders sharing their unique wisdom and insight, gleaned from extensive media experience.
Meet two of this year’s stellar speakers:
Joe Battistoni, vice president of sales and director of digital advertising for The Times of Northwest Indiana, has been nationally recognized as a leader in the transition to a mobile-first model. After joining The Times in 2014, Joe wasted no time transforming the company’s digital sales operation to become one of the top teams among its peers. He expanded The Times’ portfolio beyond traditional banner ads to search optimization, email advertising, and behavioral-targeted and retargeted advertising across the Internet.
His efforts were quickly recognized: He was one of Editor & Publisher’s “25 Under 35” honorees in 2015. “There is nothing more exciting than the explosion of digital,” he told E&P. “Whether it’s audience growth on your own site, capabilities and function of your organization or the newest social platform–everyone wants to talk about it, and we are lucky enough to sell it.” Prior to joining The Times, Joe worked at the Chicago Tribune Media Group for nine years.
Mark Levy, president and CEO of Revenue Development Resources® Inc., has 30-plus years of experience in solving problems and making money for media companies including newspapers, radio and TV broadcasters and their local advertisers. Mark’s broad range of expertise has allowed him to make a significant impact through sales and revenue growth. He has coached thousands of media managers and sales executives in growing their management and sales expertise and, most importantly, their revenue.
As past VP and GSM of the Radio Advertising Bureau, Mark was one of the most in-demand RAB trainers. His abilities to teach, train and motivate, while thoroughly entertaining his audience, have led him to be a frequent presenter at both RAB and the National Association of Broadcasters. Because of his extensive successful experience with inventory management, cross-platform marketing, and the daily issues of running successful media and broadcast properties, Mark delivers a “been there, done that, survived it, learned from it and made the most of it” approach that leaves his audiences better trained and wanting more. This has translated into millions of dollars in sales for newspapers, radio and television companies and their local direct advertisers, and the managers and sales executives who call on them.
Plan to attend this year’s conference and meet Joe and Mark! We’re confident that you and your company will benefit from their expertise. We look forward to seeing you in Chicago.
